What do you do at Options?
I am an administrative assistant and also a patient care advocate. Currently, I am running our social media pages, coordinating the baby bottle fundraiser, meeting with patients, and helping out around the office where needed.
How long have you been here?
I have been at Options for about 7 months and am the newest employee 😊
What do you enjoy about working here?
So many things! The staff, the work/life balance, the short commute, feeling a sense of purpose in what I do, using the coin machine, seeing babies, encouraging and loving on people, the faith based environment, being creative through social media.
Tell us more about you!!
I am originally from California but moved to Oregon in 2015 to attend OSU. I first learned about Options when Karen visited my church with the mobile clinic in 2019. I felt lead by God to reach out to Options in September of 2021 to see if there were any open positions available and there was! I believe the position that opened up, that I accepted, was the perfect fit for me in regards to my interests and prior experience. When I am not working at Options, you can find me watching movies with my husband, thrift shopping, making jewelry, playing board/card games with my friends, going on hikes with my dogs, facetiming with my family in California and dreaming about my next adventure.
What do you want people to know about Options?
I really want people to know that they will never feel judged here. That this is a safe place to bring any hurts, traumas, uncertainties and fears, and that whoever meets with them will love them where they are at and show them that they are not alone.
